Primary care Services incorporate health promotion, illness prevention, midwifery, antenatal and postnatal care, treatment and care of sick people, rehabilitation and palliation, community development, population and Nursing public health, education and research, policy development, health insurance and advocacy. Primary Care nurses have proficient, legitimate and moral obligations which require exhibition of a satisfactory knowledge base, accountability for practice, functioning as per enactment influencing nursing and health care, and the protection of individual and gathering rights.

Health insurance can either repay the insured for expenses incurred from ailment or harm or any health issues or pay the care supplier specifically that provides the health policy. Health insurance is frequently incorporated in employer benefit packages as a method of tempting quality employees. The Primary Care Physicians industry has a low level of capital power; as healthcare is a work escalated segment, and quite a bit of that work is exceedingly talented and generously compensated. In 2015, for every dollar spent on wages, industry administrators will spend $0.04 in capital investment. Over the past five years, capital force has remained moderately unaltered.

Primary Health Care

Primary health care is the first point of contact for health care for most people. It is mainly provided by GPs (general practitioners) but community pharmacists, opticians and dentists are also primary healthcare providers.
The aim is to provide an easily accessible route to care, whatever the patient’s problem. Primary health care is based on caring for people rather than specific diseases. This means that professionals working in primary care are generalists, dealing with a broad range of physical, psychological and social problems, rather than specialists in any particular disease area.

An important role is acting as the patient’s advocate and co-ordinating the care of the many people who have multiple health problems.  Since primary care practitioners often care for people over extended periods of time, the relationship between patient and doctor is particularly important. Primary health care involves providing treatment for common illnesses, the management of long term illnesses such as diabetes and heart disease and the prevention of future ill-health through advice, immunisation and screening programmes.

Primary Care Medicine

Primary Care Medicines are those that satisfy the primary health care needs of the population. They are selected with due regard to public health relevance, evidence on efficacy and safety, and comparative cost-effectiveness. A primary care physician is a specialist in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Pediatrics who provides definitive care to the undifferentiated patient at the point of first contact, and takes continuing responsibility for providing the patient's comprehensive care. Primary Care Nursing is a system of nursing care delivery which emphasizes continuity of care and responsibility acceptance by having one registered nurse (RN), often teamed with a licensed practical nurse (LPN) and/or nursing assistant (NA), who together provide complete care for a group of patients throughout their stay in a hospital unit or department. Primary Healthcare nurses adopt the definition of health in the Declaration of Alma-Ata that health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. Physical Therapy Specialists provide primary health care expertise in health promotion, prevention and screening, training, and treating various conditions. Primary care providers play an important role in caring for cancer and Metastasis. Capital Intensity in the Nursing Care Facilities industry is low. The industry requires relatively high amounts of labor input and only moderate levels of capital input. For every $1.00 spent on labor, only $0.06 is spent on capital equipment. This figure has remained relatively unchanged over the past five years. Total labor costs represent about 41.9% of industry revenue. Significant levels of personal and nursing care are provided to patients.

Innovations in Primary Healthcare

Primary Healthcare is the extremely important first care that is based on scientifically well-done and universally acceptable methods and technology, which make health care easy to get to people and families in a community. The International Classification of Primary Care (ICPC) is a standardized tool for understanding and analyzing information on interventions in primary care by the reason for the patient visit. Driven by population magnification and aging, the total number of office visits to primary care medicos is projected to increment from 462 million in 2008 to 565 million in 2025. Primary care also includes many basic mother-based and child health care services, such as family planning services and vaccinations. Comprehensive Primary care is an approach to health care that highlights social justice, equity, community control and social change.
